Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi(FAR) is a professional actor born in Lagos, Nigeria in the mid 70s. A dance enthusiast, Funlola won the maiden edition of a dance reality show - CELEBRITY TAKES 2 (2007), beating 9 other Nigerian Celebrities to the top spot! This driven bundle of creativity also has some hosting/presentation experience and has plans of producing her original stories in the near future. Her current project, entitled 'The Intersection: Woke Black Folk', is a stage play on the complexities of Black political identity and a story about how humans navigate difference. This project has been met with critical acclaim by thinkers and artists such as Angela Davis and Erykah Badu. It premiered to sold-out houses at both the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles (as the featured theatrical production) and the Skirball Cultural Center. The production has toured internationally and staged in venues and universities across the U.S., England, France, the Netherlands and Brazil.
