Marek Lichtenberg
Marek Lichtenberg is a producer and professionally trained actor (having been cast in numerous movies, T.V. shows, short films, commercials and high profile brand campaigns in the UK, US, Europe and Asia); working as the managing director and producer of Saint Halo Productions. One of his missions is to connect filmmakers from all across the globe. This is why Marek's aims are to work on international co-productions.
His goal at Saint Halo is to produce impactful, intellectually challenging movies with a social message cleverly imbued within each one. No matter the story, fiction or nonfiction, there's always a key message we're shining a light on.
Currently, he is working on two pre-productions the period drama "Muddy Shoes" - the silver winner of the Page Awards 2022 shot on 16mm & 35 mm; a cult thriller "Dirty Boy" filmed Autumn 2023 in the Austrian Alps, LGBTQ drama Limerence and untitled rom-com musical (described as "Bollywood meets Westerns") set to film in Mexico with co-production in India.
Since joining Saint Halo, he's produced several projects with filmmakers all over the world. Some currently in postprod are "The Flowers" a dark Gen Z feature wrapped in November, the feature documentary about the Grenfell disaster in 2017; WW2 feature The Final 45; short period "Angela"; 1970's short period piece On The Run...
Off screen, if you don't find him working diligently as a producer or an actor, you'll find him working other operational roles, such as production manager, line producer, location manager or 1AD. .
Marek also has a keen interest in working as a VFX set supervisor and growing his post-production management skills. Other skills (having specialized training for all) include Motion Capture, firearms combat, marksmanship, martial arts, weaponry and stage combat. He is fluent in English (with various accents), German, Italian, Czech and Slovak. His favorite activities include charitable work, horse riding, learning Mandarin, and being an inspirational coach often focusing on mental well-being.
